Smythe Houseare, for the first time, working with the Tonbridge and Malling Parks Officers and volunteer teams at the Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground and surrounding areas. They will be clearing and creating paths and bug habitats in the Miyawaki Forest area – a dense, fast-growing forestation area that enhances biodiversity. They will also work in the Tinker’s Island area, widening paths and putting up post for public information boards, and moving large logs and cut brash and using it to create habitats to further enhancing biodiversity in this lovely public space in Tonbridge.
